Flexible 3D Scanning In One Package

The system offers the flexibility for scanning objects and people into full digital 3D models. The HDI Advance scans objects of different shapes and sizes simply by changing the scanner's field of view (FOV). The FOV is the observable area that the system is able to capture from a specific distance. It can be changed by placing the cameras in different preset slots or by replacing them with interchangeable camera lenses (optional accessories).

Delivering High Resolution 3D Scanning Results

The HDI Advance uses a pair of machine vision cameras for capturing high resolution and accurate 3D scans, optionally in color. The HDI Advance is available in two performance models: the R1x (1.3 megapixel) and R3x (2.8 megapixel). The HDI Advance R3x model scans at up to 45 microns accuracy and generates up to 2.6 million points. The cameras in both models use standard USB 3.0 for speed.

Adaptable Solution

As your 3D scanning needs change over time, upgrade the scanner's hardware components (cameras/lenses) to improve scanning performance. The HDI Advance can adapt to a wide variety of scanning scenarios without the purchase of an entirely new system.

Complete 3D Scanning Workflow With FlexScan3D Software

FlexScan3D software is the 3D scanning engine of the HDI 3D Scanners. Each 3D scanner comes with software to create 3D models ready for use in various applications. In addition to its powerful 3D capture capabilities, the software includes the ability to process 3D scanner data. Users can process the data directly at the capturing stage with built-in data editing, alignment, and merging capabilities. The final output can be exported in different file formats depending on the user's needs.

Fast Scan Speed with Full Field Scanning

  • The system captures the full view of an object at the press of a button in approximately 1 second. Fast scan speed is useful for face and body scanning applications as people have difficulties staying still.


High Accuracy, Non-Contact Measurement

  • The HDI 3D Scanners scan an object directly without any physical contact to ensure there is no measurement interference. This enables users to capture 3D measurements reliably and repeatedly.
